… making supply chains more resilient, efficient, and sustainable

2024 January 25: The United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) Global Supply Chain Forum will be hosted by Barbados on May 21-24, 2024.

The Global Supply Chain Forum is a global conference at which ports, shipping companies, shippers and governments meet to jointly work on making supply chains more resilient, efficient, and sustainable. Ports are the core of international logistics networks and it is expected that all ports in the Caribbean region will take an active part in this global event.

The International Association of Ports and Harbours (IAPH) and the Caribbean Shipping Association (CSA) have reportedly joined forces and have organised dedicated sessions.

The Global Supply Chain Forum will focus on the challenges and opportunities of Small Island Developing States, including those in the Caribbean.

More information on the UNCTAD Forum can be found at https://unctad.org/conference/global-supply-chain-forum-2024. Caribbean ports and stakeholders are encouraged to register early directly at https://indico.un.org/event/1007801/  []
