BAHAMAS: Major port development planned
2019, November 1: Carnival Corporation has plans for two developments in The Bahamas to cost US$180 million – a new destination facility for Carnival Cruise Line on Grand Bahama Island (for just over US$100 million); and, construction of an addition, including a pier on Little Sand Salvador at Half Moon Cay, home to Holland America Line. Contracts were signed in the Prime Minister’s office in Grand Bahama on September 25, 2019. []
