2018, November 1: The Disney cruise ship m/v Fantasy returned to Tortola in late August 2018 for its first visit since the devastating 2017 hurricane season. Local residents brought out the pans and the sound of steel floated on a welcoming breese as passengers disembarked to get in on the shopping.
Fifty-four (54) stores offering an extensive range of shopping options were open at Tortola Pier Park for Disney’s return.
With some 75% of the stores at Tortola Pier Park already open and back in business, plans to be back to 100% in operation by the end of the year are expected to be realised. []
